Kayela Larsen has always wanted to draw since she first saw The Little Mermaid and The Lion King. But she had to quit following her dream because she has to take care of her growing family. But Kayela’s 4 children managed to awaken her inner artist: when she puts them to bed and she picks up the pencil.

She’s a Mormon but she never mixes her religious culture and her art. It’s said that Mormons are really strict with their kids and make them work starting in childhood. But Kayela’s comics bust these myths: strictness is in the past but having a big family is still a tradition. By the way, she’s currently expecting her 5th baby!

Bright Side has collected 11 life stories by this mother of many children that will probably look familiar to every parent.
